Dear September, 
     My name is Nini Kunu. I am 23 and still trying to figure it out (that was going to say "23 and always smiling" but I figured that I should be honest if I am going to expect you to do the same). My work thus far has been driven by my passion to tell stories about girls like me and highlight the journey of the creative entrepreneur. So naturally, I recently filmed a documentary called The Secret Life of Honey Bees, which profiled eight visible minorities, mostly women, who balance their work as creative entrepreneurs with a full-time corporate job. I also currently contribute to a fashion magazine called SCHICK and I absolutely love it. I started this blog four years ago with no plan and it has given me so much. I am grateful to the people who for some strange reason, want to hear what I have to say. For good measure, I guess I should also mention that you shouldn't let a few pretty pictures fool you into thinking that I have my shit together, I'm just winging it like everyone else. I am a work in progress, and until I'm perfect, I am not going to judge anyone else. I am going to work to put my ideas out there the best way I can and more than anything else, I want you to work to do the same. So hopefully, you come along on this crazy journey with me and you enjoy it as much as I do. As for the plan, I'll let you know when I know...
